Reading Ambassadors are chosen for their love of reading, their willingness to share this passion with others and enthusiasm to promote reading throughout our school.
Following our assembly on Tuesday 21st January 2025, the application period for the Reading Ambassador role opened and pupils in Years 1-6 were invited to apply.
There were two reading ambassadors appointed in each class.

On Tuesday 15th December 2025, the Reading Ambassador team visited Madeleine Lindley Book Centre, in Oldham.
They had the opportunity to browse the wonderful selection of books available. Each member of our Reading Ambassador team were given the opportunity to pick a book of their choice, to take home with them. This was a gesture to say a huge 'thank you' for all they have done for Hollin Primary, since becoming Reading Ambassadors for the school.
Our Reading Ambassadors are proudly on display in school.
