Our fantastic school is located in Middleton, part of the borough of Rochdale.
We are a successful, popular, friendly and inclusive primary school catering for 350 children aged 3 – 11.
At Hollin, our aim is to provide an education which develops the whole child both academically and socially, nurturing skills which prepare them for lifelong learning. We are very proud of our SEND offer and our excellent pastoral care.
Our carefully planned Creative Curriculum enables children to learn from first hand experiences, both in the classroom and in the outdoor environment. In addition to educational visits and visitors, we provide opportunities for the children to explore wildlife, develop their musical talents and enjoy physical activity and develop important social skills. Learning continues at the end of the school day, with our wide range of extra-curricular sporting activities which enrich the children’s experiences.
Hollin prides itself on providing a safe, stimulating learning environment where children thrive. All of our children are known, valued and respected as individuals who leave our school ready for the next stage in their education with life skills which prepare them for their future.
Support from home is one of the most important influences on a child’s education and we aim to work closely with all parents and carers. As we strive to further improve our school, the support and feedback from parents and carers is vital and much appreciated.
We boast a modern school building with outstanding facilities. It is equipped with the latest resources to give our pupils an excellent start to their education.
Together, with my team of dedicated staff, and Governors, I invite you to visit our wonderful school to observe for yourself the fantastic opportunities it offers your child.
